Hour 2: Midlife Battle Cry

Joyologist Dawn Barton wants us to know that our "midlife" is not the beginning of the end, it's a pivot point!  This morning she encourages us with her book Midlife Battle Cry: Redefining the Mighty Second Half. 

Dawn is an author, an entrepreneur, and a mentor. She has also been a public speaker for more than ten years, giving talks about cancer, joy, female empowerment, and direct sales. When she’s not encouraging other women to find joy and humor in even the most difficult of circumstances, you can find her living happily ever after in Cantonment, Florida, with her husband, daughter, parents, mother-in-law, two horses, four dogs, and three cats (and a partridge in a pear tree).

To wrap up this third hour, Keith Getty will tell us all about Sing 2023!, a conference on how worship fuels our witness to the nations. Keith and his wife, Kristyn Getty, occupy a unique space in the world of music today as preeminent modern hymn writers. In re-inventing the traditional hymn form, they have created a catalogue of songs teaching Christian doctrine and crossing the genres of traditional, classical, folk, and contemporary composition which are sung the world over.
