Decades ago, religious education was removed from the public school day. Joel Penton with LifeWise Academy will discuss how we can implement Bible education in our schools based on his book During School Hours: WHY and HOW LifeWise Academy is Reinstalling Religious Education into the Public School Day. 

Joel Penton is the Founder and CEO of LifeWise Academy, a program that provides Bible education to public school students during school hours. After its launch in 2019, LifeWise has quickly grown to serve more than 100 schools across the US. Before starting LifeWise, Joel founded other nonprofits including Stand For Truth and Relevant Speakers Network, an organization that has touched more than 3,000 public schools and 2 million students nationwide. As a speaker, Joel has personally presented to more than 2,000 live audiences and over 1,000,000 people across the country. He is also the author of two books. Joel is a graduate of THE Ohio State University where he played football on three Big Ten Championship teams and one Nation Championship team for the Buckeyes. Joel lives in Columbus Ohio with his wife, Bethany, and their five children.

To wrap up today's show, Michael Miller will inspire us with his testimony about Upper Room. Michael is the founder of Upper Room, a prayer meeting that started in a small upstairs office space overlooking downtown Dallas in 2010. God birthed a movement of prayer and worship in Dallas that continues to grow to this day.  Michael has been in full-time ministry since 2001. Michael and his wife, Lorisa, have four beautiful children (Hannah, Salem, Freeland, and Truman).
