Hour 1: All Who Are Weary

Start your day with Dawn and Steve in the Morning and listen to a devotional from Blackaby Ministries International about following I AM as we carry out the assignments he has for us.

And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And He said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.'"   Exodus 3:14

In addition, Sarah J. Hauser has some encouragement for those who are bone-weary-tired. Listen and learn more about her book All Who Are Weary: Finding Rest By Letting Go of the Burdens You Were Never Meant to Carry.

Sarah is a writer and speaker living in the Chicago suburbs with her husband and four kids. She shares biblical truth to nourish the soul -- and the occasional recipe to nourish the body. She loves cooking but rarely follows a recipe exactly, and you can almost always find her with a cup of coffee in hand. Sarah completed her B.A. and M.A. at Wheaton College. She's a member of the Redbud Writers Guild and has written for Coffee + Crumbs, Risen Motherhood, The Rabbit Room, The Gospel Coalition, (in)courage, and more. Find her at sarahjhauser.com, on Instagram (@sarah.j.hauser), or check out her monthly newsletter at sarahjhauser.com/subscribe.com.

Hour 2: Rooted in Wonder

Author and speaker Eryn Lynum will point us to the truth of God's Word in creation. She is a Certified Master Naturalist and has a degree in Biblical studies. In her book Rooted in Wonder: Nurturing Your Family's Faith Through God's Creation she gives parents the tools to help children reengage with God's world, a place full of amazement, creativity, and love. She lives with her husband and four children in Northern Colorado and they enjoy exploring the Rocky Mountains at every opportunity.

Hour 3: Heads Up!

Dawn and Steve talk with Dr. George Barna about our beliefs or the lack thereof and what to do about it! He will discuss "Research Identifies the Best Starting Point for Developing a Biblical Worldview" from American Worldview Inventory 2023.

George Barna has filled executive roles in politics, marketing, advertising, media development, research, and ministry. He founded the Barna Research Group in 1984 (now The Barna Group) and helped it become a leading marketing research firm focused on the intersection of faith and culture before selling it in 2009. He currently serves as the Executive Director of the American Culture and Faith Institute (a division of United in Purpose) and is President of Metaformation, a faith development organization. He has written more than 50 books, mostly addressing cultural trends, leadership, spiritual development, and church dynamics. Dr. Barna's work is frequently cited as an authoritative source by the media. He has been hailed as “the most quoted person in the Christian Church today” and has been named by various media as one of the nation’s most influential Christian leaders. Dr. Barna and his wife Nancy married in 1978. They have three adopted daughters and one grandchild, live on the central California coast, and attend Mission Church in Ventura. He enjoys reading, music, rooting for the Yankees and Lakers, and relaxing on the beach.
