Is God Fair?

Today, on Karl and Crew Mornings, we continued our weekly theme, "Common Doubts, and we discussed the common doubt of God's fairnesss. Our Scripture reference was Deuteronomy 9:5. Why did God ask the Israelites to "utterly destroy" the Canaanites? God is both perfectly loving and wrathful. We cannot afford to forget that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.
