Performance Christianity

Today, on Karl and Crew Mornings, we continued our weekly theme, "Discipleship".  We discussed three main lessons in overcoming performance Christianity.  Karl unpacked the significance of humility, proximity to Jesus, and grace (saving and training).  Are we going to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit or in our own power?  How do we avoid wanting to live in our own strength?  Getting free from selfish, performance Christianity frees us to bear fruit for Jesus, by abiding in Him!  Scripture references were Galatians 3:1-3, Proverbs 1:2-4, Titus 2:11-12, and John 15.  Hear the highlights of the program on today's Karl and Crew Showcast.
