Set in Victorian England and based on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, this two-act musical stage production chronicles the life of tight-fisted, cold-hearted, bah-humbugging Ebenezer Scrooge. With a cast of children as well as adults, this story will once again come to life through spirited acting, dancing and robust Christmas music. Watch as Ebenezer’s life is transformed forever by the love of God, conveying the true meaning of Christmas in a way that is both unforgettable and entertaining for the whole family.There are several different dates and times available at two different venues. New Covenant Church (1101 NW 33 St., Pompano Beach, 33064) has performances on Dec. 6, 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 7 at 7:00 p.m.; Hollywood Community Church (1708 N State Rd 7, Hollywood, 33021) has performances on Dec. 13 at 7:30 p.m., Dec. 14 at 6:00 p.m., and Dec. 15 at 2:00 p.m. Free admission, however a goodwill offering will be received.
