At this 5th annual Especially for Kids Event, kids with special needs and abilities and their families will enjoy exclusive access to the park amenities after the Community Center closes to the public. Activities will include Children's Science Explorium exhibits, science demonstrations, glitter tattoos, make and takes, family photos, resource fair, dance room, petting zoo, strolling characters, free carousel rides, and food. To best accomodate guests, sound modifications will be made at the Explorium and the carousel (which has a wheelchair lift); a quiet room will be available in the Community Center; and registration spaces will be limited. Especially for Kids will take place rain or shine. Pre-registration is required online only for each guest attending.
