The algae bloom situation is affecting tourism, fishing, real estate and local economies. While algae bloom research, testing and monitoring is ongoing within the State of Florida, collaboration and open communication is needed on fixing the continuous algae bloom and HAB problems. The National Algae Association is the first non-profit algae association to focus on research and commercial algae bloom technologies available in the US and throughout the world. NAA extends an invitation to all algae bloom stakeholders to attend the Algae Bloom Workshop, May 21-22, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Join, collaborate and network with commercially-minded algae bloom researchers, remediation technology experts and equipment companies to discuss algae blooms and toxic blooms (HAB’s). Attendees will learn about the devastating algae bloom problems and potential commercial algae bloom remediation technologies that are scalable and economically viable.
