Join us for the 2021 Heart of America Grazing Conference. We are kicking off the event with an informative Pasture Walk Tuesday, August 10th, with dinner to follow on site. Then on Wednesday, we will continue the educational experience with a full day conference at the Mt. Vernon, Double Tree Hotel.
Our featured speaker, Greg Judy, is a Regenerative Rancher. He along with his wife, Jan, operate Green Pastures Farm in Rucker, Missouri. Their grazing operation includes 16 farms, four owned and 12 leased.
They raise cattle, sheep, pigs, and chickens without the use of antibiotics, hormone implants, or grain. The livestock graze rich fresh pasture and receive fresh water every day. They use rotational grazing on their farm, which results in livestock having fresh rested pasture to graze on for every rotation. This also allows the previously grazed pasture time to rest and replenish.
Greg is the author of two books on grazing. He wrote, No Risk Ranching: Custom Grazing on Leased Land, and Comeback Farms: Rejuvenating Soils, Pastures and Profits with Livestock Grazing Management. In Addition to his books, Greg Judy has his own You Tube channel, to teach people how to make a living on the land and grow healthy food.
Make your conference registration before July 30th and get both days for just $65 or one day for $50. Students can attend for just $25. CCA credits are available.
