Make plans to attend this blues/jazz performance at the Carl Sandburg State Historic Site.
A team both personally and musically since the mid-1970s, Weisenburg and Berbaum perform music from many different styles, but the blues has always been at the heart of their music. Sally’s vocals are always the focal point of their performances. Don’s playing on the guitar and harmonica provide inspirational coloring for her vocals. Sally also plays the keyboard.
Carl Sandburg was a collector and performer of America’s folk songs. The concert series is named in honor of Sandburg’s book “The American Songbag” published in 1927. The Carl Sandburg State Historic Site includes the home where the famed poet and biographer was born.
