The Keokuk Community Child Development Center will host an open house with ribbon cutting for community members and families.
“We are excited to begin enrolling children ages 2-5 for full time care and school age children up to 10 years of age for the summer camp program,” says Stephanie Stancil, director of the KCCD Center. Stancil has a degree in Early Childhood Education and Development and over 20 years of dedication and experience in the early childhood field.
Over the coming year, the center will increase available child care slots through a gradual ramp up of enrollment to 110 preschool and school age children. The KCCD Center board of directors’ views the opening of the center as just the start of creating a high-quality early childhood education system in partnership with private centers and in-home providers.
The center will begin enrolling children of all ages. Care for children ages 2-5 will be offered upon opening. Care for infants up to 24 months will begin in the near future. The school age summer camp program will begin the first week of June.
For enrollment information, please contact the center at 319-313-8831 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
