Station Manager and Host
Joe has been in radio since the early '70s. He and his wife Sheila became believers in the Messiah, Jesus, in 1975. He attended California Baptist College and was ordained in 1979. He has pastored churches, hosted radio shows, and been a conference speaker and evangelist. His greatest desire is to see all come to believe in the Messiah. As Manager, he believes in working closely with all of the local evangelical churches wherever Moody Radio is heard. You will find him at various events out in the community, meeting our listeners and ministering to area pastors.When not working diligently at the station, Joe and his wife enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.
Growing up as the son of "Ranger Bill," Gordon has been around Moody Radio for a long time. After earning his B.A. at Trinity International University in Deerfield, Ill., Gordon attended Moody Bible Institute and earned a B.S. in Radio Broadcasting Technology. Gordon began working at Moody Radio in July 1976. Gordon and his wife, June, have three daughters Amy, Kim, and Lori. He enjoys playing basketball, (snow) skiing, and riding motorcycles.
Barbara was born and raised in NYC, but over 17 years made it across the country via Minnesota, California and finally up to Spokane. She holds a credential as a Registered Dietitian and volunteers in the Mental Health field. She enjoys helping others and being outdoors. As the newest member of KMBI, Barbara feels very blessed to be a part of Moody Radio! Barbara met her husband Wade over 5 years ago while practicing martial arts. They have combined their families to include 5 adult children, 1 teen and 1 Grandson. They enjoy studying the Word together, sparring and having ping pong tournaments with the kids!
Part Time Host
Jane hails from Brisbane, Australia and has worked for Moody Radio since January 2010. She pursued a degree in Journalism at the University of Queensland in Brisbane and went on to enjoy many years in Broadcasting as a producer, television host, and news anchor. Since moving to the U.S., Jane has been delighted to serve the Lord as part of the Moody Radio team here in the Inland Northwest and especially loves meeting our wonderful listeners! Jane met her husband, D'Arcy, at World Expo '88 where they both served the Lord at the Christian "Pavilion of Promise." They have a daughter, Emily, and a son, Samuel, both in their early twenties. Whenever there's free time, Jane enjoys photography, gardening, water sports, collecting antiques, and traveling. But her favorite pastimes are hanging out with family and catching up with friends over a "cuppa" (English Breakfast tea!).
Morning Show Host
Scott is a lifetime resident of Spokane and started in radio right out of high school. In the 80's and 90's he was known as "Crash" on a rock station. A career change had him teaching high school business. He is very thankful that God has given him the amazing opportunity to serve in broadcast ministry at Moody Radio!
Scott has been married to his wife Heather since 1986. They have three daughters and a miniature poodle named Zivah. Outside of work, Scott enjoys studying history, playing piano, attending church at Calvary Spokane, teaching at the Union Gospel Mission and spending time anywhere on the Palouse, the home of his ancestors.
Mornings Show Host
Dee joined Moody Radio in January 2009. She was born and raised in Spokane and proud to call the Inland Northwest her home! Dee began working in Christian radio at 20 while attending college, and discovered what would become a lifelong passion! She enjoys being outdoors, working in the garden, staying active and spending time with family and friends! Dee and her husband Eric enjoy teaching the Bible in their local church and small group settings. They have been married for 30 years and have three grown children: Sky, Jeremiah and Alycia.
Program Director and Host
Chris started at KMBI in Spokane April 2007 and originally hails from Warrensville Heights, Ohio. He has worked for Moody Radio since 1992. After a near collision between his Coast Guard cutter and a Navy ship in the Pacific brought his life into perspective, he realized, "If I would have died that night, I would have gone straight to hell, and God would have been justified in sending me there." That night he prayed for God's forgiveness and to know Him through Jesus Christ. Chris met his wife, Gerri, at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, where he pursued a B.A. in Communications. They have four children: Megan, David, Kate, and Ken. Chris enjoys hunting, riding motorcycles, sailing, and reading.
