4:00pm - 7:00pm: Arrival/Setup/Check-in
5:00pm - 7:00pm: Scavenger Hunt teaches the difficulty of finding daily basics such as food, clothing and shelter. Once completed, it's time for pizza and more.
8:00pm: Reality Speakers will offer first-hand experiences of how they overcame homelessness.
8:30pm: Family-friendly movie
10:30pm: Lights Out!
Saturday, September 10
6:00am - 7:00am: Tear down your tent or box and give thanks to God that you have a home to return to.

Box City of Hope is an annual, family-friendly event. By spending the night in a box or a tent, you'll help to raise awareness of the homeless in our community. The event is held in a secure, supervised area behind 1350 S. Briggs Joliet, IL. You can participate as an Individual, a Family or a Group. Sponsorships are also available.
