The Roueché Chorale & Orchestra will present the 23rd annual Chattanooga Candlelight Service of Lessons & Carols on Thursday & Friday, Dec. 11 & 12, 7:00 p.m. The event will be hosted by Brainerd United Methodist Church. The Lesson & Carols service will tell the story of the prediction and birth of Jesus Christ through Sacred Scripture and Sacred Choral music. Guest soprano soloist, Indra Thomas, will sing traditional favorites such as, "Ave Maria," Gesu Bambino" and John Rutter's, "I Wish you Christmas." The service will open and end with the sounding of the shofar! The congregation will be active participant in singing many familiar Christmas Carols accompanied by professional orchestra. Candles will be lit by young and old alike. You will want to make this event one of your yearly Christmas traditions!
