Long before there were church buildings, Jesus met people where they were, and the people of Hope Fellowship Evangelical Presbyterian Church have been searching for a way to do the same thing. They know that church is a comfortable and comforting place for many people, but also know that’s not the case for everyone. Many people have questions about God, about life and death, about the Bible, and the people of Hope Fellowship want to give people an opportunity to ask those questions in a casual, comfortable setting. The church pastor, Rev. Mark Gregory, stresses that this is not a church service. People are invited to bring their questions, and he will answer and discuss them with participants in light of what the Bible says. He readily agrees that there are not easy, pat answers to every question, but adds, “Ours is a big God, and his ways are not our ways. Our understanding is not perfect, but from the life of Jesus and the Bible we can answer a lot of the questions at the heart of being human.”
