January 19, 2023

1: Neighborliness: Finding the Beauty of God Across Dividing Lines

Dr. David Docusen is the author of the book and the concept of Neighborliness. He has spent the past twenty years investing into communities as a pastor, church planter, author, speaker, professor and advocate. The Neighborliness Center is the home for their work creating strategic plans for churches, businesses, and organizations to cross dividing lines and see the kingdom of God established in cities around the world.

2: The Crisis at The Border

Dr. Mark Turman is the Executive Director of the Denison Forum. As a Pastor, Ministry Executive, and a resident of a Border State, Dr. Turman joins Tom and Tabi to speak about the issue of the growing crisis at the border. Mark looks at the issue beginning with the roots of freedom our country is founded upon. He also addresses the difficulties surrounding the politics and policies that focus on the border as well as the compassion needed for those who are seeking a better life. How should followers of Christ respond?

3: Is January a True Economic Indicator?

Rob West is the host of Faith & Finance Live. He looks at the old adage, 'As goes January, so goes the year.' It is heard each year during the month of January, and the question comes to mind: Is that a factual reality or a myth? Rob also talks about the difference between investments in stocks vs mutual funds; the importance of a posture of stewardship when looking at finances and tackles a question about life insurance.
