1: Discipleship is Not as Scary as it Seems

Matt Purdom has served Brentwood Baptist Church in Tennessee for the past nine years. In his current role, he develops on-going biblical community with the purpose of executing the BBC Disciples Multiplying Disciples (DxD) Strategy. He earned is Doctorate of Ministry from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, but his initial introduction and model for discipleship came from his time with the Navigators. Matt shares practical steps we can implement to develop as disciples, that we can use to disciple others as well.

2: 9/11 A Day of Remembrance 2022

Sally Worland joins Mornings with Tom and Tabi to share about a live event presented by Scenic City Women’s Network on September 1, 2022 from Noon to 1pm at The National Medal of Honor Heritage Center. 9/11 A Day of Remembrance features Brigadier General (Ret.) Scott E. Brower who served in Operation Desert Storm and is currently the Director of The Bass Military Scholars program at Vanderbilt University. This event is open to the community. Along with all of us in the Tennessee Valley, he is preparing for collection day which is Friday, September 2nd at Bayside Baptist Church.
