Human Trafficking in Tennessee

Instances of human trafficking have been reported in all 95 counties in Tennessee. This is not an 'urban' issue. Dave Worland, Executive Director The Governor’s Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives, shares the reality of when people are most vulnerable. This occurs during transitions, when a student graduates high school and is off to college, or when a young person ages out of the foster care system. Or, if you need immediate assistance, contact the Tennessee Human Trafficking Hotline (855) 558-6484or text “BeFree” to 233733.
