Hour 1: Giving Day: A Conversation with Dr. Mark Jobe
This is a day of celebration at the Moody Bible Institute! What are we celebrating? We are celebrating and giving thanks and praise to God for His faithfulness to Moody Bible Institute and what He has done and is doing through the students, alumni, and ministry partners of the Institute. President Mark Jobe will be visiting with Ken and Deb and you on this day of celebration and giving! Hear from Dr. Jobe what the students have chosen as their theme for this Giving Day 2023 and learn how you can be part of this gospel-equipping ministry that has been sending out workers into the harvest fields since 1886!
Hour 2: The Church is God's Plan A: A Prepared Devotional Teaching with Pastor Brian Bill
Who is the fastest-growing segment in church life? Why are so many seats empty in today's churches? What is God's plan for Christians? Pastor Brian Bill looks at some startling statistics regarding church attendance and what is troublesome about them. Pastor Bill will point us to scripture to show us why it is so important for us to be part of a faith community and how the Church is God's plan A.

Dr. Mark Jobe | Moody Bible Institute
Dr. Mark Jobe serves as Moody Bible Institute's 10th president, taking office on Jan. 2, 2019. He and his wife, Dee, have been married 32 years and have three adult children, Marissa, Josiah, and Grant. The Jobes currently reside in Chicagoland area where they are active members of New Life Community Church, a nondenominational multisite church where Dr. Jobe has served as senior pastor since 1986. Dr. Jobe and his son Josiah are both graduates of MBI.
Brian Bill
Brian Bill is the senior pastor at Edgewood Baptist Church in Rock Island, Illinois. He attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison, where he was led to the Lord through the influence of his college roommate. He is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Brian serves on the Executive Board of Directors for Keep Believing Ministries, is a Pro Contributor to SermonCentral.com, is an author of two tracts (Soul Satisfaction and The Only Way), is a contributor to the Preacher’s Sourcebook, a columnist for Believe.com, writes an “Ask a Pastor” feature for Believe.com and serves as the chaplain for the Quad Cities Missing Persons Network. He also hosts a weekly radio program called, “On Mission” that airs on WDLM on Sundays at 11:00 am and 7:30 pm.
