These last several weeks we’ve been celebrating Women’s History Month in the U.S., highlighting the accomplishment of women throughout the country’s history. This month is also a reminder of the significant contributions that all women make in their families, communities and the world, and no group of women contributes more than mothers. So many mothers worldwide are in vulnerable positions due to poverty, violence, or illness that they feel forced to surrender their children to orphanages. Faith to Action Initiative is raising awareness for the church that there is another way that empowers moms and family members to keep and care for their children. Executive Director Elli Oswald shares about this new paradigm and how searching for and finding family members is offering hope and security for children around the world.
