In sharing our faith, telling people, “You need Jesus,” is nowhere near as powerful as sharing, “It is so beautiful to know Jesus’ love.” The latter creates longing.
Next, we have so many loves that compete for our affections—these other loves are idols, and they suck the life from us. Only the love of a perfect Father can swallow our lesser loves and give us life to the full.
Then, everyone we meet is fighting some kind of battle, has some kind of secret pain. And our kindness and gentleness may be just what God uses to bring them healing.
Next, if Jesus prompts you to reach out in love, out of your comfort zone, and you miss it because of fear, or busyness, remember this, you can always circle back and take a do-over!
