If you have kids between 7 and 12, they’re probably struggling with anxiety. And they need help, yesterday! Caris Snider joins the team to bring that help. Caris, author of Anxiety Elephants, and now Anxiety Elephants For Tweens is a communicator who shares God's hope through writing, speaking, and leading worship. She draws on her life experiences of overcoming anxiety and depression that started early in life. First Caris shares where that battle with anxiety began: Being bullied as a child because of Cerebral Palsy.
Then, when Perry’s daughter Kali was 10 she had the fear of dying in a house fire—Jesus spoke life to her! Next, tools for our kids to overcome anxiety! Then, in 2011 Caris’s life almost ended because of anxiety and depression. Next, how to know if your child is struggling. Then, Shawna’s wondering how to help a friend paralyzed by anxiety. Next, this week Perry was gripped by the anxious thought, “Am I really in God’s family?” Then, share with your kids your story of Jesus’ power in your life! Finally, is anxiety a “been there done that” thing for Caris? Share this if you’re encouraged!
