God is working mighty wonders in our world and Tim Harris just witnessed some of them in the Middle East! Tim and his wife Miriam have a passion to share Jesus’ love with Muslims and to teach us as well. They are the authors of Loving Your Muslim Neighbor. Tim and Miriam were in Iraq and Jordan from December 23rd to January 9th and witnessed Jesus’ power and love on display. First, they were in the home of a paralyzed Muslim man who just had a dream of Jesus. He is SO close to following Jesus. Then they spent time with Mrs. Z who as she fled Syria with her seven children, had a vision of Jesus who healed her broken body. She now follows him.
Next, they met up with Rose who is the only believer in Jesus in her Muslim village. Miriam was able to pray with her and assure her that she’s not alone, that Jesus sees her! Then they were with Mrs. R who hated Christians but one night as she bowed to say her Islamic prayers Jesus came to her, embraced her, and said, “follow me.” And she did! Next, a conversation about reaching Afghan refugees in West Michigan. And finally, in Jordan, Tim was able to share the good news with Muhammed who had never heard it before. He was drinking in the good news! Please share today’s show. Encourage others with the mighty works of Jesus!
