Jesus Isn't Safe, but He's Good

It’s only when we know we can’t save ourselves, that we see Jesus for who he is:  Our great Rescuer. But our pride will keep us from seeing him. An assist from Tim Keller, the founding pastor of Redeemer Church in Manhattan. Then Shawna admits when circumstances don’t go her way, she immediately goes to complaining. But she’s on a mission to change that for herself and you with the Abstaining from Complaining Challenge.

Next, when you surrender to Jesus as Lord, he messes with all your plans, and it hurts, but he does this to give you something better:  Real life! Another assist from TK. Then a riff on Jeremiah 29:13—"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”  Next how Jesus wrecks my tidy little cottage of a life to make me into a palace. And finally, how Jesus changes our hearts—through exile. Share the show if it encourages you!
