Surviving Suicide Loss

#SuicidePrevention.  If you’ve lost someone to suicide,  or if you’re walking with someone who’s experienced this loss, or if you believe ending your life is your only option, today’s show is for you.  Rita Schulte is a professional counselor and author of Surviving Suicide Loss: Making Your Way Beyond the Ruins.  Her experience with suicide is not just as a clinician.  She experienced the devastating loss of her husband to suicide.

First, Rita shares about the devasting loss of her husband.  Then, why “They committed suicide,” only adds to the stigma.  Next, the need to forgive yourself for not doing that “one thing” that would have prevented your loved one’s suicide.  Then, how to walk with those who have lost someone to suicide.  Next, if you feel your only choice is to end it all, Rita has a message for you.  Finally, the signs to look for that may give you a chance to save a life.  Share this!
