Becoming Well

One of five Americans experience mental illness. Which means you know someone who is suffering with anxiety or depression or some other mental affliction.  And there is help and hope and wholeness!

Today Dr. Deb Gorton joins the team.  Deb’s a clinical psychologist, a professor at Moody Bible Institute, she’s co-host of the Becoming Well Podcast and author of Embracing Uncomfortable.  First, we can’t be mentally well without these two best practices.

Then what to do if we’re struggling.  Next, how to help sufferers.  Then how we can coach our friends, family, coworkers, classmates to be mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually well.  Then hope for you if you’ve experienced the devastating loss of someone you love to suicide.  And finally, what to do when someone you love doesn’t want help.  Today’s show might be exactly what someone needs to hear, please share!
