Jesus Equals Unshakeable Hope

There’s a day coming like no other day in history:  Jesus Christ will be revealed in blinding beauty.  And everyone who has ever lived will bow and cry out: “Jesus Christ is Lord!”  But not just once, it will become a deafening chant, because to say it will be joy itself.  It’s a conversation about making that day our hope, especially when life is hard, and it’s an invitation to bow before Jesus now, if you’ve never surrendered to him.   Then maybe you love and serve Jesus but sometimes you still have doubts about your faith.  Doubt is not the opposite of faith.  Even King David, John the Baptist, and the apostle Thomas doubted.  Doubts are not necessarily a bad thing: they can strengthen our faith.  Next, we have some fun with what brands we’re loyal to.   And finally, when Jesus died something staggering happened:  An earthquake opened the tombs of many holy people.  And when Jesus rose from the dead, they rose as well and went into Jerusalem (Matt. 27).  People saw them, talked with them!  It was miracle showing that Jesus’ death and resurrection was the beginning of the end of death.  Death will not have the final word!
