It's Not Over Yet

We strike a match in pitch black room.  First, I wonder, what would happen if we shifted from seeing this pandemic as a hardship to embracing it as a gift?  An opportunity to know God better, to rely on Him more, and to become more like Him?   We want this pandemic to be over too.  But don’t give up!  You are going to make it. God is working in this hardship to make you stronger.  Then, one of our listeners Jill texted us with this: “Do you think Covid 19 may be God’s judgment on the US and world for the sins like abortion, greed, pride?”We look at this tough question through the lens of the story of the bible.

Next, maybe in 2020 you’ve lost your job.  Maybe you’ve lost your spouse. Maybe you’ve lost your will to keep going.  If you’ve been tempted to believe this is all there is to life and you don’t see it getting any better:   Turn to the only one who can change everything, here and now, and forever.  And finally, Perry knows what it’s like to go through the dark night of the soul.  And Christmas 1996 was his darkest.  But his wife’s words were like a single match being struck in a pitch-black cave.  If you’re in a dark night of the soul listen to the life giving words that lifted Perry.  They’re for you as well.  Or if you know someone in that dark place, reach out to them today.
