Preparing for the unexpected, the unknown, that’s what Perry and Shawna are talking about today. First Shawna shares that the best way to prepare for the new normal when we don’t even know what that’s even going to look like is to live in the moment. And to live in a very specific way—To be a breath of fresh air in a hostile, fearful, divided world. Speaking words that build, carrying the message into the night. Then if there ever was someone who lived his whole life in uncertainty, it was Abraham. He lived with that lifelong tension by trusting God. Knowing that he was part of a bigger story, a story that would bring blessing to the entire world. It’s a call to put the whole weight of our trust on an unshakeable God in uncertain times. And finally Perry and Shawna have a conversation about faith and doubt. And we put this out there—Faith is not the absence of doubt. Faith grows as we wrestle with our doubts. And the wrestling makes us stronger and prepares us for whatever is ahead.
