Today we take another camera angle on the beautiful book of Ruth. Joshua Harrison of Audio Scripture Ministries jumps into the conversation with us. ASM provides the bible in about 6000 languages in the world using a solar powered audio player. Through this tens of thousands are hearing the gospel for the first time! First a conversation about how pain, loss, and hardship are part of the story as we walk with God. Naomi and Ruth suffered great loss. But especially when it was hard and they felt deep despair, they put one foot in front of the other and God used them in his plan to bless the world.
And then we talk about how God lines up the seeming random experiences of our lives to weave us into his plan. Joshua Harrison shares a how the Lord put an Audio Scripture Ministries team in the right place, with the right people, at just the right time to bring his salvation to some families in a remote Mexican village earlier this year. And finally Perry shares about an experience he had in the mountains of northern Thailand when God put him in just the right place at exactly the right time. Trust in the Lord’s plan, especially when you can’t see it!
