Today a conversation about how the bible points true north. Without it we forget who we and why we’re here on this planet. So today true north reminders! First, if you’re a follower of Jesus you have been empowered by the Holy Spirit to speak the gospel. That’s what that first Pentecost after Jesus rose from the dead was all about—it was and is the empowering of every believer to be in the ministry. Second, truth is not in what we feel is right, it’s not in what the culture says is right. Truth comes from God’s word and leads us into the life that we were created to live now and forever. And finally, because you have the Holy Spirit, there’s no longer just a professional class of people who are to speak God’s word. You’re empowered. It’s another look at Acts 2 and the pouring out of God’s Spirit on all his people, whatever their vocation, to be in the ministry!
