As we celebrate how Jesus is setting us free, Shawna shares about feeling unwanted during her growing up years. But when she was 13 she realized that God sent Jesus to prove that he wanted and wants her. That was the tipping point in her journey and she shares how you can experience the joy of being in relationship with the living, loving God. Then, just for kicks, Perry, Shawna and Jack talk about what they would eat if they didn’t gain any weight and it wouldn’t hurt their health. : ) Next Perry shares how the bible isn’t a proposition, it’s not a system of belief, or a book of rules. It’s a love story about a Rescuer who has come for us, who wants us! And finally Shawna shares that sometimes she feels like giving up when it’s hard. And it’s hard now. But there is a way to count this hardship as pure joy, as a gift. And that’s when we see this season as a time to get to know God better, to rely on Him more and to become more like him. Share this freedom with somebody!
