Perry and Shawna welcome Tyler Ellis to the show. Tyler is an author, speaker and messenger of Jesus who is probably the only person to share the gospel in a Ted Talk (Search “Finding meaning in daily acts of good” on You Tube). Tyler had coffee conversations with 50 people and asked each person 20 questions to get at their core spiritual beliefs. In our first conversation with Tyler he shares the story of how he got the idea for his approach to sharing the gospel. (It was a conversation with an atheist at a wedding). Then most of the people he interviewed said that we have to earn our way to heaven. Find out why this belief can help us in sharing the good news with people from any worldview or religion.
Next, Christians he interviewed also said we have to earn our way to heaven! And this is a reality check for you and me to keep the gospel of grace central! And finally we talk about how asking inviting questions in the context of friendship can empower us to see many people come into God’s family. By the way, of the 50 people he interviewed, 12 became followers of Jesus. Become more of a winsome witness! Btylerellis.com. Share this to help others become more winsome in witness.
