Today Perry and Shawna talk about the massive difference between being a fan of Jesus versus being his follower with a big assist from Dan Mike, one of the teaching pastors at Crossroads Bible in Grand Rapids. First a fan of Jesus is interested in Jesus but ultimately trusts in himself. A follower of Jesus brings their desperation to Jesus and surrenders more and more to him as King. And it’s never too late to begin following! Then a fan of Jesus hears his words, gets goosebumps but doesn’t do anything with those words. A follower hears and then obeys. And finally Dan Mike shares that it’s not about how we’re going to make it through this pandemic it’s about knowing the Who in the midst of it. It’s a good word for Perry who had another freak out moment in the pandemic. And it will be a great word for you: Know the Who! Jesus = Breakthrough.
