Perry and Shawna explore what it looks like to rest. First Perry shares how his “breathing day” about once a month recharges and renews him. For Perry it’s some extra sleep the night before, then a great breakfast, then time soaking in the word. Whether it’s a whole day, or an afternoon, it’s a way to rest, to see life from 30,000 feet and gain new strength and vision for the journey. Then Shawna shows what a boat in a storm with Jesus sleeping and the disciples freaking out has to do with rest. And finally if we want to give God our best we have to go to sleep. For real. Two world class athletes, LA Lakers legend, the late Kobe Bryant, and NBA mega-star Lebron James talk about how more sleep will help you be at the top of your game.
