Todd Krygsheld, chaplain of Ottawa County Jail, joined our conversation on goals. He shared how working with inmates has taught him that not everyone has the ability to see far into their future or believe for good things in their future. Shawna shared how scripture is full of the truth that God has good plans for every one of us. Todd also shared that when we realize something needs to stop that we replace it with something good. Shawna relates this to when she recognizes a lie that she has believed she not only chooses not to believe the lie but also replaces it with the truth of God’s word! We talked about our tendancy to procrastinate and Todd shared some practical tools for measuring our goals to help set us up for success.
