On this episode we explore more of the names of Jesus. Shawna shows us Jesus passion to be with us in his name Emmanuel. Keoni Hughes, pastor at Grace Community Church, Hudsonville explains the name, Wonderful Counselor; that Jesus counsels us at times to take a path that is unfamiliar and unexpected. He also shares that Jesus advises us to pray this risky prayer: "Take from me whatever is in me that keeps me from being fully surrendered to you." Perry loves the name, Jesus friend of sinners, because of how Jesus embraced him at his worst. And how we who have been embraced are to show that same kind of love to those who come to us with their worst. Finally Shawna talks about Jesus, the Light of the World, who pierces the darkness of our lives and puts his light in us to bring light to our world.
