Forgiving those who have hurt us. It's quite possibly one of the most difficult things we're called to do as followers of Jesus. Forgive because we've been forgiven. What we need to see is this in action. Darrin Ray's story both inspires and convicts. On his way to church a drunk driver slammed into his car. The front of the car came down on Ray, crushing both of his legs, while the car battery exploded, covering his arms in battering acid. His left femur was broken in several places, while his right ankle was shattered. He had to have his foot amputated. But when he faced the driver in court... something amazing happened. Darrin joins us in the 7 am ET hour to share the details.
Let's do a deep dive and unpack forgiveness: What does biblical forgiveness look like? What if I can't or won't forgive? How can I stop thinking about an offense? What if Christians cannot agree? Is reconciliation the same as restoration? Does someone have to ask for forgiveness for me to forgive them? After all doesn't God only forgive us when we repent? Do we forgive too quickly? Is it a process? What happens when we don't forgive? Pastor and author Chris Brauns spends some time with us in the 8 am ET hour.
