Founders and Directors of Love A Child, Inc. Bobby and Sherry Burnette are full-time Christian missionaries. When Bobby and Sherry first visited Haiti in 1971, they never dreamed how far God would take them. In 1991, Bobby and Sherry moved to Haiti and never looked back. Since then, the Burnette’s live at the Love A Child Orphanage in Fond Parisien, and continue to “put their hands to the plow” in the country of Haiti, trusting God for His provision, protection, and preservation.

Dr. John Koessler

Dr. John Koessler is faculty emeritus of pastoral studies at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, where he served as professor of applied theology and church ministry for 25 years. He is the author of several books, including All Together Different (with J. Brian Tucker), The Surprising Grace of Disappointment, A Stranger in the House of God, and True Discipleship: The Art of Following Jesus. He is a contributing author to the Moody Bible Commentary and also serves as a contributing editor for Moody Bible Institute's publication Today in the Word, where you can read his monthly "Theology Matters" column. He and his wife, Jane, have two sons.

Originally from East Hartford, Conn., Kate brings years of TV and radio experience to Moody Radio in Florida. She attended Boston Conservatory of Music and traveled the country singing before entering the broadcasting field. Kate's pastimes are reading and writing, and she currently spends much of her free time writing a novel. She has two daughters and two grandchildren.
