Hour 1: The Atonement: A Conversation with Jeremy Treat
What does it mean that Jesus died for our sins? How does the crucifixion of Christ reveal the wisdom and power of God? Pastor Jeremy Treat has written a short study as part of a Systematic Theology Series in which he explores what the Scripture teaches about Christ's atonement and how this impacts our daily lives. This discussion will cultivate worship and discipleship as we consider the fullness of Christ's death on the cross for us.
Hour 2: Parish Nurse Course: A Conversation with Linda Guebert
Have you ever considered using your nursing skills to serve your church? Parish Nurses/Faith Community Nurses provide spiritually-based nursing care in a church setting. They provide quality care and education within a faith context and community. How do you become a Parish Nurse? Unity Point/Trinity Parish Nurse Manager Linda Guebert will join Ken and Deb to introduce you to how you become a parish nurse and the incredible gift it is when churches provide this care to their community.

Jeremy Treat (PhD, Wheaton College) is a pastor for preaching and vision at Reality LA, a church in Los Angeles, California. He is also an adjunct professor of theology at Biola University and is the author of Seek First: How the Kingdom of God Changes Everything and The Crucified King: Atonement and Kingdom in Biblical and Systematic Theology.
