Lauren McAfee
Lauren McAfee (Ph.D. in progress, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is board chair and visionary of Stand for Life, and serves as ministry director for ministry investments at Hobby Lobby. Laure is the author of Only One Life (Zondervan, 2018), Not What You Think (Zondervan, 2019), Legacy Study
(B&H, 2019) and Beyond Our Control (Thomas Nelson, 2023). Lauren holds a Master of Arts in pastoral counseling and theological studies, as well as a Master of Theology. She and her husband Michael live in Oklahoma City and enjoy reading and traveling. Together they have two daughters, Zion and Zara, through the blessing of adoption.
Thom Rainer
Thom S. Rainer is the founder and CEO of Church Answers. With nearly forty years of ministry experience, Thom has spent a lifetime committed to the growth and health of the local church and its leaders. He has been a pastor of four churches and interim pastor of ten churches, as well as a bestselling author, popular speaker, professor, and dean. He is a 1977 graduate of the University of Alabama and earned his MDiv and PhD degrees from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Rainer has written numerous books, including Pray & Go, I Am a Christian, The Post-Quarantine Church, and three other number one bestsellers. He and his wife live in Franklin, Tennessee.
