Veteran youth pastor Mike McGarry says he sees the asking and answering of these questions as vital for growing up disciples of the faith. Mike McGarry, DMin, served as a youth pastor for nearly twenty years and is the founder/director of Youth Pastor Theologian, an organization committed to training youth workers to practice theology in youth ministry. He is passionate about investing in the next generation. McGarry is the author of A Biblical Theology of Youth Ministry, Lead Them to Jesus, and Discover, and was a contributor to Gospel-Centered Youth Ministry. He is also a regular contributor to LeaderTreks and the Rooted Ministry and cohosts the podcast Thanos to Theos, which covers comics, the gospel, and youth ministry.
Trillia Newbell is the author of several books including, A Great Cloud of Witnesses, Sacred Endurance, If God Is For Us, Fear and Faith, and the children’s books, Creative God, Colorful Us and God’s Very Good Idea. When she isn’t writing, she’s encouraging and supporting other writers as the Acquisitions Director at Moody Publishers. Trillia is married to her best friend, Thern, they reside with their two children near Nashville, TN where they enjoy hiking and eating lots of bbq.
