A "No Labels" party is gaining traction for the next Presidential election and Dr. Marc Clauson will help us unpack how this "unity ticket" may impact the status quo. The polls are revealing that a majority of people are not wanting a repeat of the last election, so what would a bipartisan ticket mean for getting things done in our country? Marc is a Professor of History and Law at Cedarville University and will lead us in thinking critically and biblically as we read the headlines.
Ed Hedding is Senior Pastor of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Bettendorf. He is a graduate of Liberty University and has been in full time ministry since 1987. He loves his wife Diane and three grown children Joshua, Bethany, and Daniel and grandson Christopher Kime. In his spare time he enjoys running outside, golfing and reading. His favorite vacations are at the beach.
Prior to Cedarville, Dr. Clauson served as Assistant Commissioner, Department of Finance and Administration, and County Administrator, for West Virginia. His research interests include intellectual history, political and economic thought, church history, philosophical and theological anthropology, markets and social justice, and constitutionalism. Clauson is a member of the American Political Science Association, Southern Economic Association, Values and Capitalism Forum of the American Enterprise Institute, History of Science Society, and is a Fellow with the Nehemiah Institute. Dr. Clauson is ordained in the Presbyterian Church in America.
