Hour 1: Bringing Clean Water to Africa: A Conversation with Joshua Ngao and Greg Smith
Clean drinking water will be a reality for a village in Kenya this week thanks to a partnership between Davenport West High School and Fishers of Men Ministries. A team from Davenport West, led by teacher Greg Smith, and Joshua Ngao from Fishers of Men are in Kenya experiencing the many facets of Fishers of Men ministry. They will witness the fulfillment of six years of work as they implement a filtration system that will be used to bring clean water to an estimated 22,000 people! Listen in Tuesday as we check in with the team in Kenya and look forward to seeing and hearing about the clean water flowing later this week in the village of Muamba.
Hour 2: Emotions and God: A Prepared Devotional with Pastor Ed Hedding
How do we deal with the many emotions that come from living in a fallen world? Pastor Ed Hedding reminds us that we enter the world with a cry, but as we get older we struggle with the tears and sorrows of life. Pastor Ed takes us to Psalm 42 for a teaching on emotions and God. Through his devotion, we will learn what it means to lament and how we can experience renewed hope through it.
Hour 3: The 40 Day Feast: A Conversation with Wendy Speake
Are you malnourished when it comes to God's Word? Author Wendy Speake says we live in a consumer culture where we have never learned to be nourished in God's Word. She is calling us to get hungry for God's Word and learn how to taste and see how good and satisfying the Scriptures are for our lives today. Let's come to the table together Tuesday morning to be reminded of the incredible gift and goodness of God's Word on Ken and Deb in the Morning!

Ed Hedding is Senior Pastor of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Bettendorf. He is a graduate of Liberty University and has been in full time ministry since 1987. He loves his wife Diane and three grown children Joshua, Bethany, and Daniel and grandson Christopher Kime. In his spare time he enjoys running outside, golfing and reading. His favorite vacations are at the beach.
Wendy Speake
Whether on the stage or on the page, Wendy Speake ministers to women's hearts through storytelling and Biblical life application. With a background in Hollywood as a trained actress, she utilizes the power of drama, poetry, comedy, and spoken word in the study of God’s Word. Wendy and her husband Matt live in Southern California amidst lemon and orange trees, with their three ruddy boys. During this hands-full, hearts-full season Wendy works intentionally to balance her home life and ministry well.
