Are you malnourished when it comes to God's Word? Author Wendy Speake says we live in a consumer culture where we have never learned to be nourished in God's Word. She is calling us to get hungry for God's Word and learn how to taste and see how good and satisfying the Scriptures are for our lives today. Let's come to the table together Tuesday morning to be reminded of the incredible gift and goodness of God's Word on Ken and Deb in the Morning!
How do we deal with the many emotions that come from living in a fallen world? Pastor Ed Hedding reminds us that we enter the world with a cry, but as we get older we struggle with the tears and sorrows of life. Pastor Ed takes us to Psalm 42 for a teaching on emotions and God. Through his devotion, we will learn what it means to lament and how we can experience renewed hope through it.
Ed Hedding is Senior Pastor of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Bettendorf. He is a graduate of Liberty University and has been in full time ministry since 1987. He loves his wife Diane and three grown children Joshua, Bethany, and Daniel and grandson Christopher Kime. In his spare time he enjoys running outside, golfing and reading.
