Hour 1: Voice of the Martyrs Update: A Conversation with Todd Nettleton
The State Department released its annual list of “Countries of Particular Concern” on Friday with some surprising omissions and no press conference. Todd Nettleton from Voice of the Martyrs will join us to talk about it during our regular bimonthly update. Todd will tell us about a tragic story from Laos, and we’ll also hear how we can provide a Christmas blessing for children of Christians living in hostile and restricted nations. Don’t miss this opportunity to remember and pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are suffering for Christ around the world.

What is it like to step into the shoes of the unsheltered in winter? Christian Care is providing the opportunity to join in a walk to raise awareness of what the homeless community experiences all winter long in the QCA. Lexi Bull from Christian Care joins Ken and Deb Wednesday to share the latest regarding homelessness in our community and tell us how we can be part of the upcoming Frigid Feet walk. Todd Nettleton is director of media development for The Voice of the Martyrs, working with the media to tell the stories of persecuted Christians to people in the United States. In his role with VOM, he has met with Christians who face persecution in many countries, including Sudan, China, Egypt, Turkey, Vietnam, Pakistan, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar (Burma) and Azerbaijan.
