As you fill up with some fresh brewed coffee this morning, sit for a few minutes and fill up with some hope with author/speaker Grace Fox. Grace will offer refreshment in a series of devotions that cause us to see the hard rough places of life in a new light with the truth that we are not alone in them. Take a pause to reflect on the joy that is ours in Christ as we are reminded of His constant presence and care in every step.
Have you had a friend, family member, or coworker push back on what the Bible teaches? Are you equipped to give an answer to the "that is your truth, but not mine" defense that is prevalent in our culture today? Dr. Sean McDowell will be presenting a two-day Worldview Conference coming up in Davenport that will equip us in making a case for Christianity and defending the truth. Sean will join Ken and Deb to discuss worldview and why it's important to view all areas of life through a biblical lens.
Grace Fox is a career global worker and international speaker at women's events. She has written nine books and is a member of the First 5 writing team for Proverbs 31 Ministries. She and her husband Gene live on a sailboat in British Columbia.
Dr. Sean McDowell is a gifted communicator with a passion for equipping the church, and in particular young people, to make the case for the Christian faith. He connects with audiences in a tangible way through humor and stories while imparting hard evidence and logical support for viewing all areas of life through a biblical worldview. Sean is an Associate Professor in the Christian Apologetics program at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University. Sean is the author, co-author, or editor of over twenty books including The Fate of the Apostles, So The Next Generation Will Know (with J. (with Jonathan Morrow), and Understanding Intelligent Design (with William A. Dembski). Sean is the General Editor for A New Kind of Apologist, Apologetics for a New Generation, Sharing the Good News with Mormons, and The Apologetics Study Bible for Students. Sean has one of the leading apologetics blogs, which can be read at seanmcdowell.org.
