If you've experienced a loss of a loved one recently, you may be feeling as if no one knows what you are going through and can relate to the deep hurt that grief brings. GriefShare is a support group of other people who are also working through the grieving process and together you meet weekly to listen to experts, learn about this new season, and provide support for one another. A new GriefShare class will be starting up at Edgewood Baptist Church and in this conversation, we visit with leader Jamie McWade, who will share with us her personal experience and how you can join this support group.
Imagine having to flee your home, leaving your community, friends, and church family. Millions of Ukrainian refugees and orphan children are living that reality and Mission Eurasia is active in training young leaders to minister to their communities by providing for physical and spiritual needs. Mission Eurasia President Sergey Rakhuba talks about Schools Without Walls and the many ways the next generation is being equipped to meet very practical needs, counsel people in this time of trauma, and share gospel hope.
Sergey Rakhuba has served as the president of Mission Eurasia since 2010. Prior to this, Sergey served as the vice president of the ministry, which was known then as Russian Ministries, overseeing all the ministries in Eurasia.
Originally from Ukraine, Sergey Rakhuba later moved to Moscow. After the Iron Curtain fell, Sergey helped to plant a church near Moscow, later helped to establish 52 Evangelism and Church-Planting Centers in key regions of Eurasia.
