Amanda Cleary Eastep
Amanda Cleary Eastep is not related to Beverly Cleary, but she wishes she were. She is, however, a children’s author, and the Tree Street Kids is her middle-grade series for readers 8-12. Her other children’s writing has been published in magazines, Sunday school curriculum, and devotionals; she is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, and she
has taught writing to teens. Cleary Eastep lives in the mountains with her husband, her books, and one devious groundhog.
Danny Huerta
Daniel Huerta is the vice president of the Parenting and Youth department at Focus on the Family. In this role, he oversees Focus’ initiatives that equip parents to disciple and mentor the next generation, so that they can thrive in Christ.
