Hour 1: Rebuilding Welcome: A Conversation with World Relief's Kaylee Fisher

What are some ways that your church can be a part of welcoming the stranger to our community? World Relief is looking for churches that will build relationships with refugee families and help them to feel welcome here in the Quad Cities. Kaylee Fisher with World Relief will fill us in about an opportunity and invitation for people of faith on Ken and Deb in the Morning.


Hour 2: Salvation Army 86 Days til Christmas: A Conversation with Marissa Soliz-Davison

Thousands of people in the Quad Cities continue to struggle with the impacts of pandemic poverty, and the Salvation Army is on the front line in helping individuals and families with core needs such as food and housing. Wednesday Marissa Soliz-Davison joined Ken and Deb to talk about some of the current needs in our community and describe some of the options for those of you who want to help neighbors in need. As Christmas is only 86 days away, find out how you can join with the Salvation Army in making a difference this Christmas.
