Hour 1: Biblical " Duos": Studying the Bible with Dr. Jim Coakley

Way before the “dynamic duo” of Batman and Robin there were famous pairings in the Bible. Studying these famous “duos” allows us additional reflection and insight into our understanding and living out of scripture.  Dr. Jim Coakley walks us through some of these “duos” to freshen up our Bible Study as we get back to school in our radio classroom on Ken and Deb in the Morning.

Hour 2: SOF Missions: A Conversation with Retired Lt. Col. Dr. Damon Friedman

The U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan took a violent turn yesterday, resulting in the loss of 13 U.S. Service members and 60 Afghans. How are veterans that fought for freedom in Afghanistan coping as they process the U.S. withdrawal and now the loss of life? Retired Lt. Col. Dr. Damon Friedman joins Ken and Deb to honor the lives lost with a time of prayer and share about SOF Missions, a ministry that supports "at-risk" veterans, offering hope and help for our freedom fighters.
